Opening in 1891, the Uvalde Grand Opera House is proud to be among the oldest operating Opera Houses in the state of Texas with the most original features still in tact. Come tour the Opera House and discover more about its increible history!


TAMU Singing Cadets
The incredible voice of Aggieland is back! Please join us for an incredible afternoon with the incomparable Texas ATM Singing Cadets. Tickets go on sale December 9th! This is sure to sell out, so get your tickets as soon as you can!

Noises Off – Community Theater Production
Called “the funniest farce ever written,” Noises Off presents a manic menagerie of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing’s On. Slamming doors, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious, high-energy comedy. Directed by Karen Miller Barnes.

The Opera House opened its doors to the public in 1891. Throughout the years, this has been a place for Uvalde to have a sense of community, a creative outlet, and a place to grow together.
